NP Dr. Young is a Board-Certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who specializes in addictions, including dual psychiatric and substance use diagnoses.  She brings a wealth of education and over 20 years of experience to bear on these complex situations and takes a person-centered approach to care.  The approach combines conventional and complementary psychiatric treatment modalities and focus is on the biochemical unity between the brain and body.  Thus, the approach is a holistic one that also employs evidence and professional judgement-based diagnostic and treatment modalities.
